De La Salle College Revesby
De La Salle College, also referred to as De La Salle Revesby, is an independent Roman Catholic comprehensive single-sex secondary day school for boys, located in Revesby Heights, in the south-western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. De La Salle caters for approximately 620 students from Year 7 to Year 12.
The school was looked at during the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse for the serial behaviour of two particular perpetrators – Brother Benedict and Brother Kieran. Some of these allegations go back to the mid 1950’s, especially with Brother Benedict. The school has also been linked with allegations of child sexual abuse for two other individuals – Brother Anselm Hallam and Errol Swain who have been accused of assaulting pupils at the school in the 1970’s and 1980’s.
